eCommDirect Care Packages

Sending care packages to your loved one who is incarcerated can be a form of your love and care to them. By sending packages, the inmate will feel that they are still loved, cared for and part of your life. In TDCJ, sending care packages can be done online through eCommDirect because this is the only acceptable package program for TDCJ inmates.

If you want to send care packages to them, you have to make sure that you are approved by the inmate as a sender. The inmate has to add you to their Approved Visitation List or you are able to contact Securus and register your phone to be put on the Approved Phone List.

The Fee for Purchasing Care Packages

When you make a purchase, there is a fee namely $3.75. The fee for making a deposit is $2.50 plus 2.25% of the deposit. If you make a deposit and a purchase at the same time, the fee is $3.75 plus 2.25% of the deposit.

At TDCJ, you are able to make a purchase, make a deposit, or you can do both.
