The customer service team will then receive your information and help you with your refund request. If your refund request is approved, the amount of the refund will be deducted from your account balance.It’s important to note that all fees payable to the government or other third parties cannot be refunded.

  • Debit card refunds: To receive a credit card refund, you need to provide accurate information about your credit card to Inmate Sales customer service. Then, customer service will verify your credit card transaction and your account. If your credit card information is not valid, your credit card refund will not be approved.
  • Cash refunds: To process a cash refund, you also need to provide your transaction ID, which is available on the front of your receipt below the date.
  • Money order refunds: To request a money order refund, you need to provide the money order number. If approved, the refund will be sent to you by mail in the form of a check.
  • Prepaid card refunds: To refund a prepaid card, you need to provide a transaction ID to Inmate Sales customer service. If approved, the refund will be sent to you by mail in the form of a check.
  • Refunds for video visits: You can request a refund if you have an unused prepaid visitation balance. Your request will be approved as long as you have a transaction ID.
