JailATM Refund and Cancellation Policies

As someone who uses JailATM to be connected with your family member or friend who is currently behind the bar, you may want to know the fund and cancellation policies of JailATM just in case you want to refund or to cancel something. Apparently, the JailATM refund policies can be found on its Terms of Agreement that is available to read on the official website of JailATM. However, the JailATM cancellation policies cannot be found anywhere. As the information about JailATM cancellation policies are not available on the official website of JailATM, you are suggested to ask them about it by filling out the form that can be found at https://support.jailatm.com/GeneralInquiry.cshtml.

JailATM Refund and Cancellation Policies

As mentioned above, the JailATM refund policies can be found on the official website of JailATM in the Terms of Use or Terms of Agreement section. According to Terms of Agreement, the JailATM transaction will be considered complete, accepted and final in any event. It is stated that no refunds will be given for email, video visitation, or gift pack purchases. As for Commissary gift card purchases, the rules are different depending on the state. Check out the details of some states below:

Illinois

For anyone who in Illinois has a complaint, first of all, you can reach out to the customer assistance division of Tech Friends, Inc. There are two ways to do that. The first one is by sending a mail to PO BOX 16480, Jonesboro, AR 72403 and the second one is by calling 1-877-810-0914. If you have an unresolved complaint related to Tech Friends, Inc. money transmission activity, make sure to complain to the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation, which can be done by calling 1-888-298-8089 or by visiting www.idfpr.gov.

Texas

For those in Texas who have a complaint, firstly, you can contact the customer assistance division of Tech Friends. Feel free to do it by phone at 1-877-810-0914 or by mail at PO Box 16480, Jonesboro, AR 72403 or by email at support@jailatm.com. In case your complaint is still unresolved, please direct it to the Texas Department of Banking: In Person or U.S. If you want to send a mail, send it to 2601 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. If you want to make a call, dial 1-877-276-5554. If you want to send an email, send it to customer.complaints@dob.texas.gov. For more information, visit www.dob.texas.gov.

California

The customers in California have the right to ask for a refund of the money that is not forwarded by Tech Friends within 10 days of the date of its receipt or if they do not give instructions committing an equivalent amount of money to someone designed by you within 10 days of the date of the receipt of the funds from you unless otherwise instructed by you. Keep in mind that you have a right to a refund of your money if your instructions as to when the money should be forwarded or transmitted are not complied with and the money has not yet been forwarded or transmitted. In case you want to get a refund, send a mail or send a request to Tech Friends, Inc. at P.O. Box 16480, Jonesboro, AR 72403. For anyone who does not get a refund, you have the right to get your money back in addition to a penalty of up to $1,000 and attorney’s fees according to Section 2102 of the California Financial Code.

Maryland

If you reside in Maryland, you can send your question or complaint to Tech Friends, Inc. at Commissioner of Financial Regulation, 500 N Calvert St #402, Baltimore, MD 21202.

Other states

Once the customers from other states have completed a transaction with JailATM.com, the transaction is final and they will be not allowed to ask for a refund of the price of the transaction or fee that has been processed, even if they are dissatisfied with the transaction. That’s why it is better for every customer to read and understand the No Refund Policy before making the decision to complete a transaction on JailATM.com. It should be noted that completing the transaction on JailATM.com means acknowledging that they have read and agree to the No Refund Policy.

  1. Oct. 23,2023 I purchased a gift package for my son pd for it with cash app. On my debit card for $82.00. This is at Sonoma county adult detention facility. He never received the package I have not been able to get a hold of jail ATM or cash app . To handle this. The jail ATM ref # 436292 an the identifier # SC6V7N7. Inmate #141415.
