Does the facility where your loved one is incarcerated use GTL for allowing you to stay connected with your loved one? If so, you may want to know about removing phone number from GTL account.

Well, actually when I was trying to find the information about it, I could not find clear information about how to remove phone number from GTL account. If you want to remove a phone number from your GTL account, you are able to try to explore the app or the site to find out how to remove the phone number. Alternatively, you are also able to contact the GTL customer service to ask about how to remove the phone number.

When I accessed the ConnectNetwork GTL site, instead of finding the way to remove phone number, here is some information that I got from the Help page of that site.

• • Updating your address, email, or other account information
    If you want to update your address or email information, the thing that you have to do is to sign in to your account and then you have to go to the Settings page which can be found in the left menu. There, you are able to update account information like your address, email address, password and security question/ answer by selecting the suitable option.
  • Adding or deleting inmates on your ConnectNetwork account
    If you want to add or delete inmates related to your ConnectNetwork account, the first thing that you have to do is to sign in to your account and then you have to click My Inmates in the left menu. You are able to click the button to remove inmates from within the page or you are able to choose to search and add a new inmate to your account.
  • Setting up your AdvancePay phone account
    If you want to set up a new AdvancePay phone account on the ConnectNetwork site, you have to sign in there and make sure that you have added a facility to your account that offers the AdvancePay service. After it is available, the AdvancePay service will be available through the Dashboard and the left menu. The first time you click a link, you will be directed to the setup process. You will have to enter a phone number, choose a variety of preferences, and select the State/ Facility that will be able to call the phone number.
  • Blocking incoming calls from an inmate
    You are able to block your phone number from an inmate or facility and it can be done by listening to the prompts on the line and pressing the corresponding number to have the inmate of the facility blocked. Requesting your number to be blocked can also be done by printing a copy of your phone number and mailing it to NetworkConnect GTL. The copy of the bill needs to show that you are the owner of the phone line so you have to include the page with your name, address, and the phone number. On the bill, you have to write: “I want my calls blocked from …. facility”. And then, you have to sign and date your request before you mail it to: PO Box 2868, Mobile, AL 36652.
