To reach them, you can use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Phone Call

Making a phone call is the best way to contact Cidnet’s customer service if you already don’t have an account. You can call them at (888) 984-1903, and they will usually be available 24/7.

When you call them, you’ll have to choose prompt 2. Then, you need to leave detailed information, including your name, email address, phone number, and the facility where your loved one is housed. Make sure to tell them what issues you’re facing. If you clearly explain it to them, of course they will quickly call you back to help.

Method 2: Submit a Ticket

You can also submit a ticket to reach Cidnet’s customer service. Of course, your ticket will be responded to first before any other channel of customer service is handled. To submit a ticket, you can visit Cidnet Contact Support here (https://cidnet.net). Once you’re on the page, you’ll have to scroll down until you find the contact form.

Just like contacting customer service by phone, you also have to enter your personal information in the available form, including your name, phone number, and email. Don’t forget to provide the subject of your message. Make sure to explain your problem as clearly as possible to allow them to quickly respond to your submitted form.

Method 3: Via Cidnet Public Portal

In addition to submitting a ticket, you can also reach the Cidnet Support page through your “Public Portal” account. Well, this method is the fastest and easiest way to get your request processed. After logging into your account, you can head to the “Dashboard.” Then, you can click the “Support” button.

What if you cannot log into your Public Portal account? You can instead go to https://ffportal.encartele.net. There, you need to fill out the customer contact form at the bottom.

Okay, those are the three methods of contacting Cidnet’s customer service to help you when you’re facing any issues with Cidnet.

What Are the Kinds of Issues You May Face When Working with Cidnet?

Almost all technological communication systems are imperfect. It means that you may face problems when using them, as with an integrated application to manage inmate communication called Cidnet.

There are some common issues that users might face when using Cidnet. Well, we’ve discovered them and will mention them as follows:

1. Unable to login

Many users complained that they were unable to log into the Cidnet Portal, although they used the same account. This issue usually occurs when they input the incorrect email and password or for an unknown reason on Cidnet’s system.

2. Not receiving a verification code

After users have created an account on Cidnet, they have not received a verification code. Usually, the verification code will be sent to you via text or phone call, depending on the method you select. This verification code is very important since it allows you to confirm your phone number to make a call or receive a call from an inmate. If you don’t receive the code, your phone number is not verified for calling an inmate.

3. Unable to find inmates to link with

If you have created a Cidnet account and want to contact an inmate, you need to link it with your inmate. However, many users cannot often find the inmate they’re meant to link with their account. So, they cannot make a phone call, do a video visit, or even send them a message.

If you happen to be unable to find your loved one on the list in the facility where he or she is incarcerated, the inmate may be no longer in the facility’s system or they may have been transferred to another facility that does not work with Cidnet’s system.

In addition, the facility has not yet added the inmate you’re looking for to Cidnet’s system. If so, you can try to contact the facility in person to get further information regarding the inmate you want to connect with.

4. Video CUE cuts out or losses connection

You might have experienced your video CUE cutting out early. If it happens, your internet connection can be the reason. If you use Wi-Fi, you can check it to make sure it has a good and stable connection. It’s highly recommended for you to stand near your router when the video CUE is in progress.

5. Video CUE is complete, but it’s never started

If you receive a notification that says “Your video CUE is complete,” but you never start it, it means that the inmate failed to start video CUE. However, the inmates have a limited amount of time to sign into the device. So, if the inmate did not login, the video CUE will be automatically canceled, and you’ll have to reschedule it.

6. Device not supported

If there is a notification that your device is not supported, you might not have yet allowed the browser access to your device’s microphone and camera. If you use another browser except Google Chrome, you need to change it and use Chrome as your browser.

7. Not receiving a credit refund

When your CUE mail or Picture Mail Cue is declined, you will not receive a data refund to be credited back to your account. Well, the data will be used after a CUE is sent. You need to know that there is no way to cancel the usage of the data.

8. The card was declined

If your card was declined, it could happen due to suspected fraud or low fraud. Unfortunately, Cidnet is not responsible for declining your transaction. If it occurs, you may have to contact your bank to find out whether or not a hold has been placed on your card. If a hold has been placed on your card, it must be removed before you can continue buying data for your account.

9. Your card was declined due to an AVS mismatch or an address issue

If your card was declined due to an AVS mismatch or an address issue, you may have to verify your current billing address that your card is associated with. It can happen if you recently moved but still use your former address.

It’s important to note that you will be locked out unlimitedly if your card is often declined in Cidnet. If you face it, you may need to purchase a prepaid Visa card and make sure to register it at the correct address before you purchase data.

Well, those are some issues that many users often face in Cidnet. Make sure to clearly tell your issue when you contact Cidnet’s customer service.
